Building vs Thinking

A false binary I keep seeing: that you either think about a problem or you build a solution. In practice the two are the same loop. Building is how you discover whether your thinking was right.

This is why I stay hands-on in the code even while running delivery and operations — the architecture only proves out when it ships.
